Analogue Spirit is a Los Angeles-based indie/alternative duo channeling the ethereal melancholy of Phoebe Bridgers’ "Punisher", the relentless experimentation of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and the raw, driving energy of The Strokes. Formed in Santa Cruz, CA by frontman Matt Davidson and multi-instrumentalist Tom Delacruz, the band operates on a simple, uncompromising ethos: complete creative freedom.

Playing together for over a decade, Davidson and Delacruz have spent the last 11 years stripping away the rules of traditional rock. Operating out of their own DIY "bedroom lab," they approach their music with the genre-fluid mindset of modern pop, refusing to be boxed into a single derivative sound. Whether they are leaning into fuzzed-out psych-rock, sweeping analogue soundscapes, or grounded acoustic storytelling, the throughline is always their undeniable chemistry and commitment to authentic, unfiltered songwriting.

Now deeply rooted in the LA scene, Analogue Spirit is entering their most prolific and unrestrained era yet. Leaving behind the constraints of the traditional music industry machinery, the duo is focused on building an inclusive, community-driven space for their fans. With a steady stream of genre-bending singles dropping throughout the year—kicking off with "Bird of Paradise"—Analogue Spirit is redefining what an independent rock band can be in real-time.
